6-17: A Break and I'm Back

So after taking a bit of a break after yesterday's DISASTER...I'm back! I went to the movies, stayed up late, and swam alot today to try and get some air in my brain. And I'm happy to say that I am back in action!

My inspiration for today. Hmmm. Well, after listening to what I've done with 11:11 today, my inspiration would have to be CAROLINA LIAR.


This is a fairly new band, but this cd is INCREDIBLE. Especially "Coming to Terms", "California Bound", and "Done Stealin". They sound a bit like The Killers to me, but with a bit more pop influence. I think when I'm done with 11:11, it'll sound like it could fit on this cd.

As for A Day In the Life, I have figured out that the problem was in the drums, which is actually my favorite part of the song. Crap. But my plan is to actually switch the order of the song. I realize that may be hard to comprehend without having heard the song, but right now it's an A-B-A-B-A-C song, and I'm going to make it a C-A-B-A-B-C song. Haha. You'll understand when you hear it.

So I have 11 days until my deadline for the instrumentals. I'm very close. I think I can do this. The vocals won't take long. I promise. Maybe an August 4 release date? That's my goal as of now.

I think the first single will be 11:11, with Towers as a b-side. Sound good?
