6-16: Underwater

This blog will be short.

Today, I have only worked on 2 songs, and both of them are showing no improvement. I've tried so many different sounds, so many different instruments. UGh. Nothing's working.

The first is A Day In the Life Of A Lover, which as I said yesterday, I was having some troubles with. Well, I've been changing the feel of the song. I just don't know what to do with it. It's got great drums, and that's about it. Yuck Yuck Yuck. It's sad because at one point it was one of my fav's...

The other one is Underwater Orphan (originally Names We Know). This song is mostly finished instrumental-wise, but I have NO clue what to do with the lyrics and the melody. So there's that...

I will say the only thing that is keeping me from pulling all my hair out is World. I'm finally moving along with that song, and it's sounding good.

Changed around the order again. I'll post that later.

I'm done for the day with music. Tomorrow may be better - let's hope so.

I also forgot to mention that my due date (for myself...haha) is 6-28 for all instrumental tracks to be done. That means I'm going to have all the songs written and finished by then, and then i can take them into Joey.
