To say I am going crazy is an understatement. I just really need to finish this album, because I'm SICK OF THESE SONGS. Bahaha.
After finishing the lyrics to Day In the Life and All That Noise, my final verdict is I need to completely rethink and redo these songs, because to put it as blunt as possible, they suck. They suck bad. I AM pleased with my decision to make Cause + Cause simply piano and some soft synths. It's VERY beautiful, and just what the album needs at that point.
The Road to Now is my project for tomorrow. There will be more "tribal"-sounding drums in this song, and better sounding strings. That's my plan for that. Hmmmm what else....
I am seriously freaking out about getting a job. I applied at more places today (Kroger, Chick-Fil-A, Wendy's), but i need one NOW. Any help would be appreciated.
So schedule for tomorrow:
- Add strings and drums to The Road to Now (which btw is my favorite song I've EVER written)
- Rewrite A Day In the Life of A Lover
- Rewrite All That Noise
- Finish World
- Finish Cause + Cause
That means I HAVE HAVE HAVE to go to bed now, because I'm seeing a show tomorrow night.
Ugh. Time speeds.
