7-2: HAPPY NEW MONTH

HAPPY NEW MONTH EVERYONE! Can you believe it's already July?

So, as it were, I am up at 2 in the morning, but it's actually not a problem. I have off work tomorrow and friday - mainly because of 4 of July.

But I'm excited to tell you that I am REALLY moving on the music. I've recieved some wonderful gifts from a certain someone that is going to really help me make the sounds alot smoother and better, including TWO FREE BETA 58A's! (which if you don't know, are pretty dang good vocal mic's.) How cool is that? So with that in mind, I have decided to do all the vocals here. It'll be cheaper, AND it will be faster. And honestly, I don't know if I can find time to make the trek all the way downtown each day to do vocals. Might not be possible.

My family (all besides me) is going up to michigan to see relatives. Alot of them. And my mom pressured me into making a preview cd for her of the songs I'm finished with so far. Of course, I'm not REALLY finished with any of them, but since she insisted, I decided "okay." SO tonight I started doing vocals for a couple of the songs, so she could have something to show them. I am sending Jet Sky Alley, You Were Meant for the Skies, and 11:11 as previews, and I'm going to ask my mom to get feedback from them. I'm sure they'll have plenty to give, and knowing my mom, she'll only tell me the good things said. But that's why I have my dad. ;)

Besides that, everything is really coming together. I'm excited because I have extra hours this weekend to relax/smoothly work on the songs.
