6-28: I FINISHED ON-TIME

YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

I can't believe I did it!! You all should be totes proud of me, because I finished June 28, as i said I would. Ughhh...it feels so good to be done. Except...not.

So I'm not REALLY done. And honestly, I didn't really do anything but adjust and tweak this weekend, when I really should have been getting down to the nitty and gritty of problems and such. Instead, I've been downloading new sound effects - pads, drum sounds, eq's and effect vst's, and things like that. Things that will help the album sound even better (like a new violin sound that sounds OUT OF THIS WORLD). But it only left me more to mess with and sort out.

So my NEW plan is to give myself another two weeks: To July 12. That way, I will get finished, and then the the next week, either A) go into the studio with Joey, or B) do the vocals at mi casa. Either way, July 12 is the new day I'm shooting for. So you can wish me luck in that respect.

As for songs, The Road to Now is a monster of a song, and I'm not sure where to start with how to fix it. I like it the way it is, and I'm afraid tweaking it will make me hate it, but some of the sounds just aren't high-quality sounding enough for me. I'll keep you updated with that. Jet Sky Alley has new tribal drums that sound down-right epic. Loving them. 11:11 is just needing a new drum part in the second half. Still working on that. Ghosts + Goblins MAY need a new drum part - undecided about that.

Now what's my inspiration right now, eh? Sleep. Sleep is my inspiration.
