6-22: "doo-lay. doo-lay. doo-lay. ay-doo."

I have a job!!!! HOORAY!!! While it IS an outdoors fixing-pool, mowing-lawn type of job, it pays really well!! I'm just glad I'll be DOING something...FOR MONEY! :)

Anyhow, sorry I've been so absent recently. I have decided that Day in the Life of a Lover is OFF the album. Bye. It just wasn't working. Sorry. And you'll never get to hearrrrrr it. Well, that's a lie - it might be used later on down the road. BUT NOT NOW!

But GOOD NEWS. I HAVE decided to put Mega Parade on the album. Which is why the name of this blogdate is "doo-lay." It's the words I made up to use as percussion on the song. It's going to be a very fun song. I promise. Lots of vocals. Lots of guitars. Lots of ... trumpets? And a great chorus you can jam to. Just what the album needs. A good driving song.

Also, I'm still looking for a theme for the song Names We Know/All That Noise/The Departure. I have no idea what the song is about yet. Still looking for an idea for it. Everytime I write for it, it just comes out too dramatic...I don't want that! I have everything else done. Just needs lyrics. And I can't write about nothing, so.... help?

I actually may not meet my 28 deadline. (surprise?) I will be cutting it close on this album - plus I will now have a job, giving me even LESS time to work on it. Jiminy cricket. Time flies. Already more than a month into summer.

Right now, 11:11, I Need You, Jet Sky Alley, Rain_Fire, Ghosts+Goblins, and You Were Meant For the Skies are completely done (YAYYYY), so that's half. Cause + Cause is really simple, so that should take no time. The Road to Now is basically done. World is CLOSE, but no cigar. Finding Eden just needs some tweeking... we'll see.
